I loved Short Circuit when I was a kid.  I wanted to be Johnny Five for Halloween, but my mom said it was too difficult a costume to make. So I was a spider instead.

the only part of this story that i have a problem with is the fact that he “erased” her memory after she broke up with him. you can’t erase a real human’s memory. go ahead, fuck robots all you want. date ‘em, marry ‘em, do your thing. but once you start playing god, you’ve crossed a line.

For the sake of transparancy, I’ll admit I found this story at the blog Stuff White People Like. Ironic, yes. But interesting, too.
