And if true, that’s how this would have to go down. What I’m saying is that yeah, there really are people who might think this is a good idea.

The Day No Balloons Fell.
I watched the convention on channel 13 (PBS) rather than cnn because i was sick of all the shit cnn kept putting on the screen. like the random facts on the bottom third of the screen. so even cnn knows how pointless their commentators are? so anyway, ch 13 has Jim Lehrer covering the convention. As it’s winding down, Lehrer says something to the effect of: “Here’s a random bit...

being as it’s my job to question the validity of all facts in a story, i’m just going to keep a running tally of random tidbits of info i’ve heard about this election—nothing serious, just the totally random shit you just kind of hear—and see how they hold up. Today, the day of Obama’s nomination speech, is the 45th anniversary of Dr. King’s “I...

tumblndice: No need to watch this whole clip unless you love extended jams of the NBA theme song by John Tesh and his violin-playing, turquoise-sea-captain-coat wearing friend. But the answering machine part in the first minute is a definite must. BOM! BACKA-DINA… And here’s come more background I dug up from Mr. Tesh (Or, J. Frank) himself: The ‘composing’ took place that...
